Consultation Fees & Medicare Rebates
Initial Video Consultation
A$400
Eligible patients with a valid GP referral may receive a Medicare rebate. The applicable rebate depends on the Medicare item, eligibility and individual circumstances.
Follow-Up Video Consultations
Follow-up video consultations may be bulk-billed for up to 12 months while your GP referral remains valid, subject to the confirmed billing arrangements. This may include consultations for repeat prescriptions when clinically appropriate.
Face-to-Face Consultations & Procedures
If you need a physical examination or further assessment, a face-to-face consultation may be arranged with a designated specialist practitioner. The second consultation may be bulk-billed, subject to the confirmed arrangements.
Additional charges may apply for face-to-face assessments or procedures, depending on the practitioner and service provided.
Care Beyond Your Video Consultation
Face-to-Face Assessment When Needed
If you are willing to travel to a designated specialist practitioner following your initial video consultation, a face-to-face consultation may be arranged for further examination or assessment. The second consultation may be bulk-billed, subject to the confirmed arrangements.
Surgical Care & Local Referrals
If surgical management is required following your consultation and discussion with your specialist, a referral can be made to your nearest appropriate public hospital, or private surgery may be arranged locally where suitable.
